Audrey Camuzet works as a hotel maid in Paris. One of the guests is Gary Newman, an American businessman scheduled to leave for Dubai the next day. After a sleepless night and a panic attack, Gary decides to skip his flight and walk away from the life he has built. When Audrey arrives to clean his room, she is surprised to find his things still there. An unexpected power outage turns the hotel upside down and leads Audrey to see the city and its inhabitants from a completely different perspective.
