Die My Love

Lynne Ramsay US, 2025, 119 min
Cast Jennifer Lawrence, Robert Pattinson, Sissy Spacek, LaKeith Stanfield
Spoken language English
Subtitles Dutch, French

A young mother moves with her husband, Jackson, to a remote country house in Montana. Their newfound happiness seems complete with the arrival of their first child, but the idyll soon unravels. Cut off from the outside world, Grace (Jennifer Lawrence) slowly loses her grip on reality, trapped in postpartum depression and a growing paranoia over Jackson’s (Robert Pattinson) fidelity.

Just as in her previous films WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT KEVIN and YOU WERE NEVER REALLY HERE, Lynne Ramsay employs an uncompromising style that balances psychological drama with feverish hallucination, crafting a raw portrait of motherhood and isolation. It is no surprise that DIE MY LOVE was selected for the main competition at Cannes: its raw emotion and overwhelming sound design grab you by the throat from the very first minute.

Alongside Lawrence and Pattinson, icons like Sissy Spacek and Nick Nolte shine in this visual trip. One of the most daring and talked-about cinematic experiences of the year.
