35mm
35mm film is the traditional cinema format, which uses actual photographic film instead of digital files. This results in a unique image quality with rich colours and a natural grain. Sometimes you can even see dust particles!
To do this, our projectionist spools the entire film onto a special reel and manually loads it onto our Kinoton projector. This makes every 35mm screening a physical and therefore unique process, turning each showing into
a special cinematic experience.
