De Cinema proudly presents the third edition of SPOTLIGHT ON WOMXN DIRECTORS! In the course of a month, we put a spotlight on women filmmakers and directors identifying as woman. With films from all genres, we break the dominating male voices in the film canon and celebrate new perspectives.

Welcome at the second edition of OERF OERF. This time during Easter Break. Figures and creatures – the crème de la crème of the national and international puppet theater – bring performances in and around De Studio for literally every age. Also in De Cinema you can see various films wherein puppets play the main part.
What never could, now can. What never should, now shall. And what you never dared to tink, no happens. Puppeteers are torn. Now it’s up to the puppets. New this year: also the Antwerp Poesjenellen are here! Poesjenellen are comical rod puppets who found their origin in Italian street theater and are since the 16th century part of the folk culture in Antwerp. And sure enough: there will be swearing, fighting and singing. Are you itching to come?
Stef Van Looveren — COSMIC BODY – First Incision
M HKA presents a new site-specific installation and performance by Belgian multidisciplinary artist Stef Van Looveren as part of the IN SITU programme. The project treats the museum space as a hybrid of temple, body, and alchemical laboratory, focusing on material transformation—melting, merging, and mirroring—as a way to explore change as both ritual and embodied experience.
