Mad Max

Mad Max showcases George Miller at his rawest: pure petrol-fuelled fury, packed with post-apocalyptic chases, motor oil, and anarchy on four wheels.

In a violent near future, society is collapsing and gangs have taken control of the highways. Max, a police officer, becomes caught in a spiral of revenge and destruction, where the road no longer represents freedom but a permanent battleground.

Working with limited resources, Miller created a film that would become one of the most influential action classics ever made, launching a franchise that would culminate decades later in Mad Max: Fury Road. The film radically reshaped the action genre and laid the foundation for modern post-apocalyptic cinema.
