ANVIL: THE STORY OF ANVIL showcases the unwavering spirit of the Canadian heavy metal band that influenced Anthrax and Metallica. While the world forgot about them, Steve “Lips” Kudlow and Robb Reiner continued to play with the same fervor. Director and former roadie Sacha Gervasi follows the duo on a calamitous, sometimes hilarious, sometimes painful European tour. What begins as a portrait of a struggling band evolves into a heartwarming story of friendship, stubborn passion, and the power of music. A film that will put a smile on your face.
