A young woman works in a corner shop and finds real meaning in the small talk with her customers. She records every conversation on the security cameras and rewatches the footage at home. The little shop, with its customers at the centre, takes over her whole life.

Through a dry and polluted world, a nature spirit carries a flower, searching for a safe place to plant it.

HOLD MY HAND (Sophie Sherman, 17′)
Between 2020 and 2022, Sophie Sherman films her loved ones during lockdown in France, Belgium and England. Framed by a birth and a death, the film focuses on gestures of care, human connection and the beauty and fragility of shared moments.

A film student struggles with heartbreak and makes a film to come to terms with the break-up. The harder he searches for the essence, the further he strays from it.
