Tous les matins du monde
Alain Corneau’s masterpiece TOUS LES MATINS DU MONDE tells the compelling story of the mysterious widow and gamba player Monsieur de Sainte-Colombe and his ambitious student Marin Marais. Awarded with seven Césars – including Best Film! – this cinematographic gem introduced a whole generation to old music. Just as magnificent as main actors Gérard and Guillaume Depardieu, Jean-Pierre Marielle and Anne Brochet: the breathtaking decor of 17th century France. Jordi Savall created the enchanting soundtrack which moved millions of people worldwide. Let your ears party and turn a blind eye for the ‘creative’ fingering – artistic freedom, quoi.
This screening is a replacement for the cancelled show of 7 February.
