Both offer an escape from everyday life: the hope of a big payoff, plenty of surprises, and, above all, pure spectacle. You never quite know what you’re getting into…

Lucky Chance (27 Feb–1 Mar) is a three-day film festival about humankind’s desire for gambling. FC Dollyshot and De Cinema invite you for one weekend long in these shady worlds, in the company of characters for whom every bet is an attempt to find meaning within an unpredictable, hopeful, and sometimes empty world.

A festival curated by fc dollyshot and co-produced by De Cinema. With the support of District Antwerpen.

Prior to the screening of Edward Yang’s MAHJONG on Sunday, March 1, the Belgian Mahjong Association (BMA) will organise an introduction to Mahjong, the immensely popular Chinese tile-based game. Come (learn and) play with us from 16:00 to 19:30 in De Studio’s Rotonde.
