Burlesque x Send in the Clowns

BURLESQUE is a glitter-soaked backstage musical anchored by the incomparable Cher as Tess, the sharp-witted owner of a struggling Los Angeles burlesque club. When small-town dreamer Ali (played by Christina Aguilera) arrives with a voice too big to ignore, the stage becomes a battleground for ambition, loyalty, and survival.

De Cinema celebrates 80 years of Cher with a special 35mm drag screening of BURLESQUE — the iconic musical that earned cult status among drag performers worldwide. It’s no surprise that songs from its legendary soundtrack have lit up the open stage of Send In The Clowns more than once.

Hosted by musical nerd VERONIKA, Send In The Clowns adds a live drag show to the 35mm screening. Expect dazzling performers who bring the film to life, lip-syncing in perfect sync with gay icons Cher and Christina Aguilera on screen.
