Lady Chatterley

Sir Clifford Chatterley is confined to a wheelchair after returning paralysed from the First World War. As he grows increasingly distant from his wife, Lady Constance Chatterley, she falls into a depression. Seeking companionship and connection, Constance turns to Parkin, the gamekeeper. Despite his initial reluctance, the two grow closer and embark on a passionate affair. Their relationship is threatened, however, when Lord Chatterley rediscovers his zest for life and gradually regains some of his mobility.
