Three Soviet agents are unsuccessful in repatriating a Soviet composer, who has settled in Paris. The beautiful but chillingly serious Ninotchka is sent to Paris to finish their mission and take the four men back home and save them from the decadence of the capitalist Paris. But when the charming Steve Canfield crosses paths with Ninotchka his smooth perseverance starts to thaw the icy Ninotchka.

Set to witty tunes of Cole Porter’s soundtrack, Astaire and Charisse (repairing after their successful THE BAND WAGON) dance their way into our hearts with the timeless Eugene Loring and Hermes Pan choreography.
