It all started out wonderfully between Maria and her second husband, Sigmund, but their relationship isn’t what it used to be. Maria is constantly striving to balance her successful career with her role as a mother while Sigmund is frequently traveling for work. The harder Maria tries to juggle everything, the more their relationship becomes strained.

Despite her desperate attempts to patch things up, Sigmund announces his desire for a divorce. This forces Maria to confront her deepest fears. LOVEABLE is the powerful feature film debut of Finnish director Lilja Ingolfsdottir. She found her inspiration close to home: in her own life.
